Wet/Vapor Abrasive Blasting

Wet/Vapor Abrasive Blasting

This type of abrasive blasting uses a water and sand slurry mix under pressure to prepare the surface. Dust that is normally expelled by dry abrasive blasting is removed and thus the requirement for containment is eliminated. The latest environmentally friendly way of vapour blasting mixes the abrasive with water to enhance the levels of surface finish.

Vapour blasting can be used to restore concrete, steel and other surfaces while generating significantly less fugitive dust than dry blasting.
